Articles of Organization

An “Articles of Organization” is a document used to form a limited liability company with the appropriate state level agency. It has a different name in different states, including “Certificate of Organization.” It must be filed with the appropriate state level agency to create the company named in the particular Articles of Organization. This agency varies from state to state, but in Michigan it is LARA. The information required to be included in Articles of Organization also varies from state to state.
